ESDGC
ESD enables people to develop the knowledge, values and skills to participate in decisions about the way we do things individually and collectively, both locally and globally, that will improve the quality of life now without damaging the planet for the future.
GC enables people to understand the global forces which shape their lives and to aquire the knowledge, skills and values that will equip them to participate in decision making, both locally and globally, which promotes a more equitable and sustainable world.
PLACE has been set up to aid the school's efforts to promote ESDGC. Led by Mr. Owens, this extra curricular club will invlove class representatives from Year 2 to Year 6, their aim is to ensure the whole school are aware of and supporting all areas of ESDGC. The club will work towards gaining the ECO Schools Green Flag status.
They have provided the each class with a set of 'posters' to promote their approach. Some of which you can see below.
